If you had told me a few years ago that I would become an author, I probably would have laughed.

Writing a book was something I had thought about for a long time, but actually sitting down and finishing one felt like a completely different thing. And yet, here I am—with my first book published and several more stories taking shape.

And honestly?

I’m just getting started.

There are a few things happening behind the scenes that I’m finally ready to share.

A Fiction Novel Is Coming

My first book, Faith in the Fire, came from real life. It was personal, vulnerable, and rooted in experiences that changed me as a mother, a wife, and a woman of faith.

But there are stories in me that aren’t memoirs.

I’ve been working on a fiction novel, and there is something incredibly fun about creating characters and places that don’t have to come from my own life. Fiction gives me room to explore faith, courage, brokenness, hope, and the choices we make when life doesn’t go the way we expected.

I’m not quite ready to tell you everything about this book yet.

But it’s coming…soon.

And I can’t wait for you to meet these characters.

A Women’s Bible Study Is Coming, Too

I’ve also been working on something very different.

Just Keep Walking is a women’s Bible study inspired by the life of Naomi.

Naomi’s story has always stood out to me because she didn’t have a neat, wrapped-in-a-bow testimony. She experienced loss. She experienced disappointment. She walked through a season where she couldn’t see what God was doing.

And yet, her story didn’t end there.

Sometimes faith doesn’t look like confidently knowing where you’re going.

Sometimes it looks like putting one foot in front of the other.

Sometimes all you can do is just keep walking.

That message has stayed with me, and I hope this study will speak to women who are somewhere in the middle of their own stories—women who may not have all the answers but are still choosing to take the next step.

And Then… I Started Another Novel

Because apparently I don’t know how to work on just one project at a time. 😂

While working on these other projects, I’ve already started another novel.

It’s still very much in the beginning stages, which means there are more questions than answers right now. Characters are developing, ideas are changing, and I’m following the story to see where it takes me.

That’s one of my favorite parts of writing.

You start with an idea.

Then suddenly the characters have opinions of their own.

And before you know it, you’re sitting at your computer thinking, Well, I guess we’re doing this now.

More Than One Story

One thing I’ve realized through this process is that I don’t want to put myself into one particular box as an author.

I love writing about faith.

I love honest conversations about motherhood, marriage, mental health, and the hard places life takes us.

I love studying Scripture and finding the places where an ancient story somehow speaks directly into our lives today.

And I love fiction—the freedom to create a story and let readers find pieces of themselves inside it.

Maybe those things don’t seem like they belong together.

But they do to me.

Because underneath all of the different stories, I’m interested in the same things:

People.

Faith.

Brokenness.

Hope.

And what happens when we keep going.

My first book was one story I needed to tell.

These next books are different stories, but they are still part of the same journey.

And I’m really excited to see where that journey goes.
